MAY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP LUNCHEON: Rear Admiral William Greene Spoke to Membership |
Rear Adm. William Greene | During our General Membership Luncheon at the Chartway Arena in Norfolk on May 21st, Rear Admiral William Greene (Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center and Director, Surface Ship Maintenance, Modernization, and Sustainment) delivered a comprehensive and insightful address to our membership. Rear Admiral Greene began his address by expressing gratitude to Perry Bingham, Bill Crow, Chartway Arena staff and attendees. He acknowledged the essential role our association is to supporting the Navy and our workforce. Virginia Ship Repair Race Night Crossed the Checkered Line! |
The Virginia Ship Repair Race Night at Langley Speedway was held on Saturday, June 8th, and was a great success. Thank you to all our member companies that came out. The evening was filled with music, food, and entertainment provided by the Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway. Over 700 people from the maritime industry were in attendance. The 2023 Senior and Junior VSRF Tradespersons of the Year, Bradford Major of General Dynamics NASSCO-Norfolk, and Christian Fitzgerald of Tecnico, were on hand to present trophies and wave the green flag.
