VSRA's Committees are open to all members and meet regularly to discuss a range of topics pertinent to the industry. Active participants in these committees are recognized as leaders both in their specific areas of expertise and in the committee structure. Members are encouraged to engage in these meetings to not only share their knowledge but also to collaborate on addressing mutual concerns, shaping the association's positions, and developing educational content for the broader membership.

VSRA 101 "Lunch-and-Learn" - Save the Date!


We value your Membership in the Virginia Ship Repair Association and want to ensure that you're getting as much out of your Membership as possible. Therefore, we're excited to announce the return of VSRA 101! These FREE lunch-and-learn sessions will be held twice a year, and are intended to provide orientation to new VSRA Members as well as re-introduce current Members to the many benefits and initiatives of VSRA.

The next VSRA 101 Lunch-and-Learn session is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, 2023 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center, ODU, Big Blue Room.

Established in 2006, the Virginia Ship Repair Foundation’s Tradesperson of the Year Awards recognize excellence in the ship repair industry workforce. Each year we get numerous nominations in two categories to determine the winners for the year. The Junior awardee has less than 5 years experience in trade experience, the Senior 5 years or more in trade experience. 

We value the vital role our tradesmen play in ensuring the strength of our Naval defense. Help us recognize the best in their field!
