On March 20th, the Virginia Ship Repair Association and Foundation proudly hosted the annual Digital Innovation Competition at Nauticus in Norfolk. This dynamic event welcomed 10 middle schools from across Hampton Roads, all competing to present original, forward-thinking ideas aimed at improving the ship repair and shipbuilding industries.

We have 7 New VSRA Members and 1 Reinstatement for March 2025. This brings our Membership Total to “323”.

VSRA's Committees are open to all members and meet regularly to discuss a range of topics pertinent to the industry. Active participants in these committees are recognized as leaders both in their specific areas of expertise and in the committee structure. Members are encouraged to engage in these meetings to not only share their knowledge but also to collaborate on addressing mutual concerns, shaping the association's positions, and developing educational content for the broader membership.

These past few weeks, we have been blessed by those in the Association who have stepped up and volunteered their time to go to career days to engage with students to build a better representation of the industry and encourage the next generation of leaders. Thank you to the following:
