Brian Holland joined MHI Ship Repair & Services in 2014 and has served in various capacities including Business Director, Vice President of Programs and Business Capture, and Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2022, he assumed the position of President and General Manager. In this position, he is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of daily operations and long-range planning.
Brian started his career in ship repair as a Nuclear Assistant Shift Test Engineer at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). Over the course of his 12 years at NNSY, he progressed to the position of Nuclear Project Engineer and Planning Manager. In 2002, he joined Earl Industries as the Director of Planning where he was responsible for the oversight of planning and scheduling efforts in support of the company’s Multi-Ship/Multi-Option (MSMO) Contracts. As a collateral duty, he was also responsible for the development and submission of multiple MSMO proposals.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering from VA Tech, a Master of Engineering Management Degree from Old Dominion University, and an MBA from the College of William and Mary.
