Don Vivier is a team and results oriented executive with 35 years of experience in the engineered rotating equipment manufacturing and services market. Since joining Electric Motor & Contracting Company, Inc. (EMC) in 2006 Don has held various positions including Director of Pump & Mechanical Repairs, Vice President, and Executive Vice President. Don assumed the position of President in May of 2024. In this position he is responsible for all aspects of the company.
Don began his 35-year career as an apprentice (machinist & mechanic) for Dresser Machinery Repair Division. Over the course of his career Don has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility, including Nuclear Service Center Manager and General Manager of worldwide nuclear operations for a large publicly traded OEM.
Don’s extensive experience with the development, implementation and execution of safety, quality, operational excellence and process improvement initiatives coupled with his background in manufacturing, engineering, project management, financial analysis and business development have made him a key contributor to EMC’s growth over the past 18 years.
