VSRA Board of Directors meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, followed by a lunch meeting with the general membership.
The guest speaker for the November 20, 2012 luncheon meeting will be Michael Barakey, District Chief with the Virginia Beach (VA) Fire Department. He was the first on-scene and will be speaking on the Lessons Learned from the April 6, 2012 F/A-18 Crash in Virginia Beach. His topic will be centered around Safety, Risk, and Preparedness. Mr. Barakey was the special Keynote Speaker at the recent VSRA Safety & Health Seminar held on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at ODU where he provided an outstanding presentation.
The Chairman of the VSRA Board and the VSRA committee chairs report to the general membership at the monthly meeting, followed by a guest speaker's presentation. Each member company may have its designated representatives present at the general membership monthly luncheon meeting and is welcome to invite company guests.
