The Scaffolding Competent Person
Course is conducted in partnership with Associated Scaffolding Company. The 8-hour course is comprised of 6 hrs. of content and 2 hrs. of hands on practical work.
Content covers:
- Introduction to OSHA requirements under CFR 1926 subpart L
- Duties of a Competent person
- Identifying Hazards associated with scaffolds
- Requirements for scaffolds such as: access, fall protection, platform requirements, stability, and electrical hazards
- The scaffold inspection process, daily Inspection forms and scaffold tags
Students who successfully complete the class will receive a competent person training card and certificate of training.
