Scaffold Competent Person (May 22)

The Scaffolding Competent Person

Course is conducted in partnership with Associated Scaffolding Company. The 8-hour course is comprised of 6 hrs. of content and 2 hrs. of hands on practical work.

Content covers:

  • Introduction to OSHA requirements under CFR 1926 subpart L
  • Duties of a Competent person
  • Identifying Hazards associated with scaffolds
  • Requirements for scaffolds such as: access, fall protection, platform requirements, stability, and electrical hazards
  • The scaffold inspection process, daily Inspection forms and scaffold tags

 

Students who successfully complete the class will receive a competent person training card and certificate of training.
