This certification is a step beyond Red Cross certification because it is an International Certification and specifically addresses the ship yard environment. In addition, the Marine Electrical version of this course was created to center on Electrical examples and response considerations in order to better meet the requirements of NSTM 300. The one day course provides comprehensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use, emergency oxygen administration, conscious choking management skills and blood borne pathogen training.
