Human Resources Committee Meeting

Wednesday, October 02, 2024, 11:00 AM

The topic for our October meeting will be the current state of the law of restrictive covenants:  noncompete agreements, non-solicitation agreements, and confidentiality agreements.  We’ll look at the latest developments and focus on what the law allows—and, perhaps even more important, what the law doesn’t allow—in each of those, both here in Virginia and around the country.  Among the things we’ll cover is the recent Federal Trade Commission ban on noncompetes and the effect of the federal court in Texas putting a nationwide hold on it.  We hope you’ll be able to join us!
