2nd Quarter Safety Suggest Deadline

SAFETY SUGGESTION AWARD PROGRAM VSRA member companies are encouraged to have their employees submit safety ideas. VSRA allows only member companies to participate in the Safety Suggestion Award Program.

Emergency First Response (Jul 6)

Emergency First Response training is OSHA approved and internationally accepted.  This course meets the OSHA Guidelines CFR 1910.151 compliance standards for workplace safety.

Emergency First Response REFRESHER (Jul 6)

This is a 1/2 a day refresher course from 7:30am to 11:30am. The EFR Refresher course meets OSHA Guidelines 29CFR 1910.151 compliance standards for workplace safety.

NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector Course PREP (Jul 6-8) CANCELED

This is perfect for workers who are going to attend the NBPI certification class or who need to retake the course/exam.

Blueprint Reading & Technical Drawing (July 11-15)

This course is designed for rising welders, pipefitters, ship-fitters, electricians and workers who need a working knowledge of blueprint technology, symbols and design features specific to ships.

The QMB / Quality Assurance Committee  combined meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of every ODD month starting at 9:00 a.m., at the VSRA Offices, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 5500 (5th Floor East), Norfolk, VA  23510.  We are located in the World Trade Center building.  The QA Committee session will begin immediately following the QMB session.

VSRA Board of Directors meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the odd numbered months. The General Membership Luncheon meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month. The Guest Speaker for the July 21, 2015 meeting will be RDML Lorin Selby, NSWC HQ.
