Job Description: Q.E.D. SYSTEMS, INC., a local Marine Engineering firm has need for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) personnel to support various HM&E shipboard systems equipment for multiple Navy Class Ship Availabilities.

Job Description:          

  • Develop Availability Baseline Reports and Maintenance Baseline Reports
  • Develop Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certifications
  • Develop Configuration Overhaul Planning/Change Notices
  • Create Integrated Logistics Support kits
  • Develop Integrated Logistics Support Management Team/Logistics Product Review (ILSMT/LPR) reports

Job Requirements:

  • Individual shall possess an Associate’s degree or higher. Experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience executing ship availability Integrated Logistics Support.
  • Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be familiar with HM&E shipboard systems equipment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret Ships Installation Drawings (SIDs).
  • Must be familiar with ship’s systems/equipment Technical Manuals.
  • Must be familiar with ILS certifications.
  • Must have certification in CDMD-OA or MBPS.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Desired Requirements:

  • Experience with creating ILS certifications.
  • Experience with building or processing Configuration Overhaul Planning (COP) or Change Notice work files.

Security Requirements:

  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance and the ability to maintain one.

Information
Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.
