We are currently seeking Quality Control Electrical Inspectors (Day Shift).
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Perform electrical inspection and testing of disassembled electric motors and associated parts to determine necessary repairs.
- In-process and final testing to verify repairs and release completed motors.
- Complete all required paperwork completely and legibly.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using multimeters, megohmmeters, and related testing equipment.
- Must have accurate and legible recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to meet physical requirements for position, including but not limited to ability to be on feet for an extended period, bend/stoop/kneel as needed, use of both hands, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of electric motor windings is a plus.
- Former military electrical/electrician A school is a definite plus.
Candidates will be given capability tests as part of the selection process.
NOTE: This position requires drug and background screening.
