Good afternoon,
The five Navy Ship Repair Associations and the Shipbuilders Council of America (SCA) will again jointly sponsor the annual National Ship Repair Industry Conference (NSRIC) in Arlington, VA, March 23-26, 2020.
The Port of San Diego Ship Repair Association, the Virginia Ship Repair Association, the Jacksonville Area Ship Repair Association, the Puget Sound Ship Repair Association and the Ship Repair Association of Hawaii each represent the industries of their respective Navy home ports. The Shipbuilders Council of America represents both ship repair and ship construction companies nationwide. Altogether, NSRIC participants represent over 300 companies including dozens of shipyards around the Nation.
The format will be similar to past years with Senior Navy speakers on Tuesday 24 March followed by Congressional meetings on Wednesday 25 March 2020. Thursday is expected to be a Navy-Industry discussion day. The conference will be at the Westin Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, VA.
A letter will follow this Save the Date formally requesting Navy leaders to speak on Tuesday 24 March. We ask that you save the date to attend the leading conference for Navy ship repair.
