Bill Crow Featured on "Cox Connections"
On May 9, Cox Channel 11 began airing a segment of their Cox Connections program featuring Bill Crow, President of the Virginia Ship Repair Association. Cox Connections host Emma Inman interviewed Bill about the Virginia Ship Repair Foundation's 10th Annual LEGO Competition, which was held in March. The format gave Bill the opportunity to speak about the many career pathways available in the Ship Repair Industry, as well as discuss the many great initiatives of the Foundation.

WVEC Highlights Ship Repair Industry
Mike Gooding of WVEC interviewed VSRA President Bill Crow for his piece on the state of the private Ship Repair Industry in Hampton Roads. "[T]hey've got to pay their bills and they pay their bills by keeping ships there and keeping them repaired," said Crow, who is hopeful there will be brighter days ahead. "In the summer, we should see relief," he said. "And it looks like that should continue to improve on into fiscal year '17 and through a good part of fiscal year '17."

The Virginian-Pilot: A Sign of the Times
The Virginian-Pilot's Bob McCabe also interviewed VSRA President Bill Crow for an article on the state of the private Ship Repair Industry in Hampton Roads that ran in May 21st's edition and subsequent Inside Business publications. "Hampton Roads is home to seven privately owned Navy ship-repair companies, more than any other port in the country, according to a recent Government Accountability Office report...'When even one of those facilities is not working at capacity, part of a national security asset is going to waste,' Crow said."
